I found my luggage...

At the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal last month, I searched for my (other) boring luggage that was lined up with hundreds of  others, like rows of rectangular charcoal cabbage.
This made me think about my stashed (but wild) bottom weight fabric that was an over run from the New York fashion district last year.

The fabric's print was too large scale and bold to wear, and does not go with my home decor.

I changed the hand of the print by ironing it to fusable fleece

And I used a stretch bottom weight solid fabric for the lining.  There are more details about making this soft sided luggage here http://www.burdastyle.com/profiles/kubisz/my_studio/projects
